European Young Engineers

In 2004, UESA was officially admitted in the EYE – European Young Engineers council, thus also representing the engineering student on an international level. EYE is a European network of young engineering professionals and students sharing knowledge, fostering mobility and developing personal and professional skills.

The European Young Engineers are a dynamic and rapidly growing organisation with enthusiastic members, representing more than 150.000 young engineers from 17 member organisations and 13 countries. We offer the access to a Europe-wide network by linking the national engineering associations. EYE is a network of people. It is a platform for contacts between students, engineers, industry and society. The network gives support to students and engineers who want or need to work abroad. It opens borders and it opens minds.

The objectives of EYE are to:
•    Improve mutual understanding between European engineers and engineering educational systems
•    Create a trans-European network of professionals to develop personal skills
•    Foster mobility of young engineers in Europe
•    Create a forum for the exchange of experiences on personal and professional level as well as for the organisation itself
•    Implement the values of EYE

EYE offers bi-annual conferences , each one bringing together between 80 and 300 participants from all over Europe. EYE-Contact, the journal of the European Young Engineers, contains short articles about subjects of interest for European young engineers.
